U.S. Auto Parts offers more than 1 million high-quality private label and branded aftermarket products to nearly 10 million online customers a month.
Carparts’ challenge was that an inevitably complex process of product selection gave customers plenty of opportunity for frustration. They identified site speed and an improved user experience as key to a successful customer journey and selected Mobify’s PWA platform as the way to achieve it.
Carparts project involved liaison with an offshore internal team responsible for APIs and desktop development. The project was completed in 12 weeks and the project sponsor has since spoken at multiple ecommerce conferences about the experience and outcome of the implementation. 64Labs continues to improve and update the experience as PWA requirements and opportunities emerge. 64Labs continues to work on the development of more efficient APIs and tagging strategies using Tealium, all aimed at maintaining speed advantages that PWA has delivered.
