Front-End Engineer (React)

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, 64labs is a front-runner in ecommerce development, focusing on bespoke progressive web applications. Despite our compact size, we have made a global impact with a portfolio of projects spanning the U.S. and Europe. Notably, we collaborated with Salesforce in the creation of their PWA Kit, now known as Composable Storefront, solidifying our role as their leading global front-end partner. Our team, operating on European time, creates a meritocratic culture with a steep, supportive learning curve. Notably, we've seen no voluntary developer exits in the last three years, attesting to our stable and rewarding work environment.

Our typical team structure comprises six roles: PM, Development Lead, Senior Developer, Mid-level Developer, CMS Developer, and QA Engineer.

We're currently looking for a Senior Frontend Developer ready to play a core role in our company's next phase of growth.

• We use Atlassian Products for projects tracking - Jira/Confluence‍

Responsibilities:

• Active participation in discovery, planning and estimation
• Tasks implementation
• Code review
• Collaboration with teammates to deliver new features and improve development process‍

Requirements:‍

• At least 5 years of experience with React;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with TypeScript
• Experience with MobX, Redux
• Familiarity with Express.js
• Good understanding of Git branching strategies
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Ability to understand business requirements and concepts and translate those into technical solutions‍

Will be a plus:‍

• Experience with development of e-commerce solutions
• Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud APIs
• Familiarity with PWA Kit | Composable Storefront
• Familiarity with CMS and Search engines (Contentstack, Amplience, Algolia etc.)
• Familiarity with Panda.css or similar CSS-in-JS framework(s)

Recruitment process:

Engineering manager interview ( 30 minutes)
The Engineering Manager will share the details about 64labs and what we stand for, as well as inquire about your career aspirations, preferred work environment, skill set, and expertise. After this initial pre-screening phase, your resume will proceed for further evaluation.

Technical Interview ( 1 hour)
This interview is conducted  to evaluate the technical expertise and knowledge required for the role. Be ready for some theoretical questions as well as short live coding tasks.

Final interview with CEO ( 1 hour)
In this interview, you'll have the opportunity to meet either our CEO or the Head of Development. Expect to answer some behavioral questions to assess both your skills and cultural fit with the company
