The Challenge

OGIO is a US-based bag and apparel brand acquired by Topgolf Callaway Brands in 2017. Known for durable, high-performance gear, OGIO combines style and functionality for athletes, travelers, and professionals alike.

Following the successful Callaway Golf composable launch, Topgolf Callaway Brands commissioned 64Labs to roll out a second site for OGIO.

The objectives:

  • Reuse as much of the CallawayGolf build as possible
  • Deliver the same performance and engagement boosts
  • Implement brand-specific design with minimal bespoke development
  • Launch significantly faster than the original build

The 64Labs Solution

64Labs delivered OGIO in just 16 weeks, a third faster than the Callaway timeline, by:

  • Using the same Next.js + Vercel architecture
  • Integrating with the same Contentstack headless CMS
  • Sharing multiple components with CallawayGolf
  • Creating custom OGIO components only where necessary
  • Overlaying OGIO’s unique design system without disrupting the core build

Why It Matters for eCommerce Leaders

OGIO’s rapid delivery showcases the scalability of a shared composable architecture across multiple brands. By reusing components and infrastructure, Topgolf Callaway Brands can quickly roll out new sites, maintain consistency, and reduce costs. With Topgolf launched in 2024 and CallawayGolf PreOwned set for 2025, the group will operate four composable sites on a shared pool of components.
